Bare Pegs

A rest, in the musical sense. One sagging line, a row of bare clothespins, nothing hanging but a single torn corner of ruled paper at the far right; the top of one yellow head, looking up. In a series named after the instruction everyone plays at once, this is the bar where no one does. What the pegs held, and whether it is gone or coming, the image declines to say.
